“Starship” launched into orbit for the first time – VIDEO
SpaceX has launched its next-generation “Starship” rocket into orbit for the first time.
TodayPress TV reports that the rocket overcame a technical difficulty during the flight and successfully deployed the first batch of new Starlink satellites into orbit.
The 40-story unmanned rocket, consisting of the upper-stage “Starship” spacecraft and the “Super Heavy” booster beneath it, lifted off from a launch pad at SpaceX’s Starbase complex near Brownsville on the Gulf Coast of Mexico.
