Did Tokayev deny what he said? – “I did not say that”
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has clarified his earlier statement regarding the war in Ukraine.
According to information provided by TodayPress TV, citing foreign media, Tokayev said that he had not spoken about the need for an “immediate cessation” of the fighting in Ukraine.
“I did not say that the fighting should be ‘stopped immediately.’ I spoke about freezing military operations and moving to negotiations,” Tokayev said.
