New secret about Bashar al-Assad revealed – SENSATIONAL CLAIM

It is alleged that a secret nuclear reactor was being built in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor region during the rule of the country’s ousted president, Bashar al-Assad.

TodayPress TV reports, citing the Associated Press, which in turn cited a confidential UN report, that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) conducted inspections at several sites in Syria in August and confirmed the existence of previously suspected nuclear facilities.

According to the report, the Assad government failed to provide information on nuclear material, facilities and relevant activities, as required under its safeguards agreement within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

Among the sites inspected by the IAEA inspectors were a reactor under construction in the Deir ez-Zor region, a nuclear fuel production facility and another facility intended for fuel storage.
