Pashinyan reveals a SECRET LIST leaked from the Kremlin: Who did the Kremlin promise “You will become Prime Minister” in Yerevan?

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s latest speech in parliament has once again raised the political temperature in Yerevan. Ahead of the parliamentary elections on June 7, Pashinyan hinted that Russia had given the Armenian opposition the “green light” for a change of government.

TodayPress TV, citing Musavat.com, reports that the Golos Armenii publication analyzed Pashinyan’s speech.

According to the publication, the prime minister’s statements paint a rather interesting picture.

According to Pashinyan, someone close to the Kremlin was allegedly told: “Go, everything has been settled, you will become prime minister.” In other words, based on Pashinyan’s version of events, Moscow gave certain forces hope that Armenia’s political leadership could be changed through elections.

However, a bigger question arises here: Does Pashinyan actually know about plans in Moscow, or has he made Russia the main target in order to justify domestic political repression?

According to Golos Armenii, Pashinyan has long labeled the country’s real opposition as “Putin’s agents,” “FSB operatives” and “Russia’s fifth column.” The aim, the publication argues, is to portray the opposition not as a political rival, but as a threat to national security. The publication specifically recalls the “secret plan” raised by Samvel Karapetyan. According to the allegations, the plan included Russia putting pressure on Armenia’s economy, restricting the access of certain Armenian products to the Russian market and, amid the resulting socio-economic discontent, encouraging people to take to the streets.

Speaking to TodayPress TV on the issue, Natiq Miri said that the circulation of such information at the level of Pashinyan indicates that the Pashinyan-Putin meeting was not particularly smooth and that Pashinyan failed to achieve what he wanted during his meeting with Putin. Therefore, there was a need to put such information into circulation:

“As for justifying the arrests inside Armenia, frankly speaking, Pashinyan does not have any serious political or legal need to justify them. In other words, he does not need legal or political pretexts for this.

Because the crimes committed by the people who were arrested have been accepted as a reality in Armenia for decades. There is even such a demand in society that these people should be arrested. It is just that during Pashinyan’s first period in power, at least because his position was weak as a defeated leader and because he did not want to completely damage relations with Russia, he could not proceed with such arrests. But under the current circumstances, Nikol Pashinyan’s government has been able to deepen its roots in society, receive a mandate from the people for another five-year term, and this issue — the arrests — was not raised only after the parliamentary elections. During the election campaign and meetings with the public, Nikol Pashinyan openly told the people that these individuals belonged in prison and that they would be imprisoned. What is happening today is the fulfillment of a promise made to the people. It has simply happened somewhat later.”

N. Miri believes that Nikol Pashinyan is not looking for a special pretext for this and does not need one. Because people such as Robert Kocharyan have blood on their hands:

“During the March 1 events, people were shot en masse in the streets of Yerevan, and this happened on the orders of Robert Kocharyan. The same applies to other crimes committed in various forms by people such as Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan. For decades, corruption and, among other things, money laundering have been carried out in Armenia through these individuals. Therefore, there is no need to justify them. There are legal and political grounds for this.”
