Flydubai pilot flying to Tel Aviv attempted to crash the plane – VIDEO

The causes of the incident on a Flydubai flight and details of how it unfolded remain unclear.

TodayPress TV reports that one of the passengers told Israel’s N12 television channel that panic broke out on board during the incident. According to the passenger, after the cockpit door opened, passengers saw traces of blood.

“We heard screams on the plane. Then the cockpit door opened and we saw blood. Someone had injured the pilot with a folding knife. There were moments when we thought we would not make it out alive,” the passenger said.

Another passenger said that after the pilot was injured, the aircraft began rapidly losing altitude.

“Screams broke out on the plane and the passengers realized that something had happened. As far as we know, one of the pilots was stabbed with a knife and seriously injured. After that, control of the aircraft was lost and it began rapidly descending. It was very frightening,” the passenger said.

A relative of one of the passengers said that they heard a woman calling for help during the flight. According to the relative, one of the men pulled out a knife and attempted to attack the woman. At that moment, the pilot grabbed the man by the hand and pinned him to the floor.

“After that, the aircraft began losing control. Everyone was screaming, thinking they were going to die. A few minutes later, the other two pilots took control of the aircraft,” the passenger’s relative said.

Meanwhile, Israeli sources claim that the incident was linked to a conflict between the pilots. It was later reported that the possibility of a hijacking had been ruled out as part of the investigation.

At the same time, investigators are also examining a version that one of the pilots attempted to steer the aircraft toward the ground and that people on board tried to prevent him from doing so. The aircraft’s sharp loss of altitude during the flight is cited as a basis for this possibility.
