Agreement on air services between Azerbaijan and Mongolia approved

The Agreement on Air Services between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Mongolia has been approved.

TodayPress TV reports that the issue was discussed at today’s plenary session of the Milli Majlis.

It was noted that in the event of any dispute between the parties to the agreement, they will first seek to resolve it through negotiations.

It was also noted that the document could contribute to expanding ties between Azerbaijan and Mongolia, both of which are located along energy and transport corridors of regional and global importance, as well as promoting tourism.

The draft law on approving the agreement was discussed by the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship and unanimously supported before being recommended for consideration at the plenary session.

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted with 107 votes in favour.
