Zelenskyy appeals to the world: “Russian airspace will be closed!”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to international partners and airlines operating flights to Russian cities.

The head of state said that Russian airspace is no longer safe, TodayPress TV reports, citing Axar.az.

“We want to warn every airline using Russian airspace, every insurer, and everyone who still uses Russia’s major airports: Russian airspace is becoming completely dangerous,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

At the same time, the president noted that Ukraine poses no threat whatsoever to civil aviation, not even to a single civilian aircraft.

“There will simply be so many drones in Russian airspace that we need to pay attention. Although the Russian authorities do not report this properly, Russian airspace will effectively be closed: the war launched by Russia is closing its airspace,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
