Saudi Arabia resumes oil exports
Saudi Arabia is increasing crude oil shipments through the East-West oil pipeline to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea.
TodayPress TV reports, citing Reuters, that although operations on the pipeline resumed on Tuesday, loading oil onto tankers has not yet begun.
Saudi Aramco has told oil refineries in Europe that it is continuing to build up sufficient oil stocks at Yanbu port before exports resume.
According to the report, pressure testing and other preparatory work on the pipeline could take several days. A return to full capacity could take six weeks or longer.
