Polish minister openly challenges Lavrov: “Tell your boss enough is enough!” — VIDEO

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski directly addressed the Russian delegation, reminding it of the differences in economic capacity between Russia, Poland, Europe and NATO.

TodayPress TV reports that he made the remarks during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

Addressing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who had previously left the hall, the minister said:

“Stop destroying Russia’s future, Sergey. I know you’re listening. Tell your boss enough is enough.”

He added that Russia had been trying to seize Donbas for more than 12 years and Kyiv for more than four years.

“But the heroic Ukraine, a country whose GDP is one-tenth that of Russia’s, stopped you. Poland’s GDP, however, is almost half of yours. Europe’s GDP is 10 times larger than Russia’s. NATO’s GDP is 25 times larger,” Sikorski emphasized.

The foreign minister called on Russia to stop the war and not put Europe at further risk:

“You can stop this imperialist war at any time. Do not put Europe and the world at even greater risk. Stop destroying Russia’s future.”
