US bans it, Germany refuses to comply
Germany has no intention of withdrawing from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
TodayPress TV reports that German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said this in an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio, responding to the US call for countries to withdraw from the ICC en masse.
“Of course, we have no plans to do so. It is a very important institution. Unfortunately, this is one of the areas where we disagree with the policies of the US administration,” the minister said.
