Russia and North Korea open automobile bridge

Russia and North Korea (DPRK) have opened the Tumannaya River automobile bridge to traffic.

TodayPress TV reports that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the DPRK Pak Thae Song jointly gave permission for traffic to begin crossing the bridge via videoconference.

It should be noted that an agreement on the construction of the bridge was signed in 2024 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Construction began in spring 2025.
