Peace is on the table, while Putin is weighing his options
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that all proposals for a peace settlement concerning Ukraine are “on the table.”
TodayPress TV reports, citing foreign media, that Putin made the statement.
Putin noted that Moscow must take Russia’s interests and the current situation into account when considering these proposals.
The Russian leader also claimed that “aggressive circles” in Europe want to use Ukraine as “cannon fodder” with the aim of limiting Russia’s development.
Putin also said that Russia is not preparing for war with Europe and that there is no basis for such a conflict.
