Russians are coming: Trenches being dug across Europe

Warnings about a possible threat from Russia in Europe show no signs of abating.

TodayPress TV reports that on September 19 alone, calls for preparations for war and a possible crisis were made in several countries across the continent.

In Britain, officials spoke about psychologically preparing society for a possible conflict, while French President Emmanuel Macron called for unity in the face of a crisis. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the coming weeks and months could be difficult. Finnish President Alexander Stubb, meanwhile, drew attention to Russia’s drone activity and stressed the importance of ensuring that the population is prepared for serious incidents.

At the same time, Germany’s state apparatus and Bundeswehr are preparing for a possible large-scale conflict, Switzerland is strengthening its defence capabilities, and Lithuania is developing plans for the mass evacuation of civilians. The Netherlands and the Czech Republic have reported an increase in Russia’s hybrid activities. In Berlin, preparations are also underway to counter possible Russian interference during elections.

In other words, within a single day, reports from various European countries focused on the same issues: war, the Russian threat, hybrid attacks and possible evacuations.
