Tensions rise in France: “We need protection from Macron...”

Florian Philippot, leader of France’s Patriots party and a candidate in the 2027 presidential election, has said that the French people need protection not from non-existent hybrid threats, but from the policies of French President Emmanuel Macron.

TodayPress TV reports that Philippot made the statement on the X social network while commenting on a plan proposed by the president to protect critical infrastructure in France from hybrid attacks.

“First and foremost, the French need a plan to protect them from Macron,” Philippot wrote.

It should be noted that Macron previously announced that the French government would prepare a plan to protect the country’s critical infrastructure from possible drone and cyberattacks.
