Netanyahu: Israel received no prior warning about Flydubai incident
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel received no specific intelligence warning before the incident involving a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv.
TodayPress TV reports that he made the remarks in an interview with CNN.
Israel had general information about possible plans by Iran-backed groups Hezbollah and Hamas to attack Israel and Israeli citizens abroad.
However, according to Netanyahu, Israel was not given advance warning of any specific incident that could occur involving the Flydubai flight.
Netanyahu also said that Israel intends to take part in the questioning of the pilot involved in the incident.
