US commercial oil reserves decline
US commercial crude oil inventories fell by 3.2 million barrels over the week to 424.1 million barrels as of October 2.
TodayPress TV reports that the information was released by the US Department of Energy.
The department clarified that the current level of reserves is 1% above the five-year average for this time of year.
It should be noted that, as of 18:30 Baku time, the price of December 2026 Brent crude futures on London’s ICE exchange had risen 1.16% to $101.75 per barrel, while December WTI futures had increased 0.41% to $89.81 per barrel.
