Transfer market heats up: Balde close to joining PSG
PSG’s new signing Lucas Dean has failed to meet head coach Luis Enrique’s expectations since joining the Parisian club during the summer transfer window, and the club is already considering signing Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde in the January transfer window.
TodayPress TV reports, citing foot01.com, that the French coach is dissatisfied with Dean’s performances and is ready to take drastic measures. Enrique has made it clear that he does not intend to make concessions for players who have failed to meet expectations this season. The French defender, who joined from Aston Villa in the summer, has played just 104 minutes since the start of the season.
Enrique has reportedly instructed PSG sporting director Luis Campos to pursue the signing of Alejandro Balde. Balde, who has been given just 12 minutes of playing time in La Liga this season, could be allowed to leave Barcelona for €40 million.
